Hello!
I am truly honoured to be taking over Dr. Greenaway’s practice starting in the new year. I am very excited to begin meeting you and your families in early November as I gradually transition over to full time on January 1, 2021. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you know a little about my practice.
I grew up in Vancouver, where I completed my medical degree at UBC in 2018. I moved to Toronto and served as Chief Resident at St. Michael’s Hospital Family Medicine Program, graduating in June 2020. In my practice I have a broad interest in clinical topics including Obstetrics and Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. I have worked with a variety of patient communities including LGBTQ+, homeless and underhoused individuals, and immigrant and refugee families. Fostering relationships and helping individuals from different cultures and backgrounds is what I love about Family Medicine and the reason I applied to medical school initially.
My priority as your new family doctor is to reassure you that I will do everything in my power to care for you and your family, especially during this uncertain time. I understand this is going to be a challenging transition. Over the next few months, I will learn about your health and your goals in order to continue to provide the amazing medical care that you are accustomed from Dr. Greenaway and the HealthSource Medical Clinic. I look forward to meeting all of you!
Sincerely,
Dr. Dan Cojocaru
